Stephen Ministry:
Stephen Ministers are congregational members who are recruited, trained and
commissioned to provide one-to-one lay caring ministry to persons in crisis or
with other needs for care. Trinity Lutheran Church initiated its commitment to
the Stephen Ministry program in 2002. Since then, three leaders have been
trained and commissioned. The first group of six Lay Ministers recruited and
trained by the leaders were commissioned on May 18, 2003.
